The Department of Human Relations (HR) offers six different Masters programs, including three online programs, and graduate certificate options.

Master of Arts in Human Resource Studies

Developed with practicality in mind, Human Resources Studies not only focuses on assisting students in acquiring a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR- its breadth and depth, but also on fostering a learning experience that promotes critical application of the acquired knowledge to real world HR scenarios

 

Clinical Mental Health Counseling

This track prepares graduates for careers in counseling and emphasizes critical thinking, social justice, and multicultural competencies. This program is ideal for those pursuing a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and students completing this program will meet the academic requirements for the Licensed Professional Counselor license administered by the State of Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health.

Master of Human Relations

 

Human Relations is a multi-disciplinary field that promotes democratic values, advocacy and social justice. The program provides the skills and knowledge to work with diverse populations and to confront systemic social and organizational inequities. 

Graduate Certificate in Helping Skills

The Graduate Certificate in Helping Skills in Human Relations provides professionals in a wide variety of helping professions with the knowledge and skills to improve relationships, and to be effective and ethical helpers.

Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling Online

This is an advanced program for learning to serve communities and change lives for the better. This program teaches through a social justice lens while also preparing students for the LPC exam.
