Ph.D. in Literature in Hispanic Studies at the University of Montreal. I joined MLLL at OU in August 2023 as Lecturer in Spanish. I worked before as a Lecturer in Latin American Literature at the University of Montreal from 2016 to 2021; and as a Professor in Literature and Language at Simón Bolívar University, in Venezuela, from 2008 to 2015.
I have research on Latin American avant-garde novels and their relationship with technology, experience, and media communication. I’m also work on the representations of body, materiality, and technology in Latin American Narrative of 20th and 21th centuries.

I tech the upper division courses: Hispanic Cinema SPAN 4503 and the graduate course 20th Century Hispanic American Novel SPAN 5940.
