Setting Due Dates in Canvas

Many students rely on the Canvas TO DO LIST to know what to complete and when. An assignment must have a due date for it to appear on a student's To Do list. By setting Canvas due dates, you can help students manage their assignments.

Please Note: Pages with due dates will only appear on the course To Do list and not the main Canvas Dashboard To Do list. Some students may be more likely to view the Dashboard To Do list that has assignments for all their classes instead of the course-specific To Do list
