Course Organization

WHY USE MODULES

Use Canvas Modules to organize content and help guide the flow of a course. Set them up by unit or topic to create a logical flow of learning activities, making it easier for students to access materials and assignments.


MODULE CONTENTS

Each module can contain files, pages, discussions, assignments, quizzes, and other learning materials.

Example of Modules in Canvas At the top is a collapsed module titled Start Here, Course Info. Below that is an expanded module titled Topic 1 Module. Within that module are pages titled Topic 1 Overview, Readings, Website, Videos, Discussion, and Paper 1. Below that are two collapsed modules titled Topic 2 Module and Topic 3 Module.
