The SpeedGrader tool in Canvas can speed up grading and provides a convenient way to leave annotated feedback for students on writing assignments.

When using SpeedGrader to leave feedback make sure students know how to find it. Below is an example message to send to students and/or include something similar in your syllabus:

For your written assignments, I have left annotated feedback on your papers. In order to view this feedback follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Grades

  2. Click on the title of the Assignment

  3. Click on “View Feedback”
