Sean Kueny Named Outstanding Senior in the Humanities

The department is pleased to congratulate Sean Kueny on being named this year’s Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Senior in the Humanities.

Sean is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in architecture. He serves as CEO of Build Upcycle, a 501(c)(3) intended to promote environmentalism and waste-aversion in architectural pedagogy and is working to initiate a Build Upcycle pilot program within the University of Oklahoma’s Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture.  He has also assisted with psychophysical architectonic research, contributing to the book Hans van der Laan’s Instruments of Thought by Dr. Tiziana Proietti (University of Oklahoma) and Dr. Kees den Biesen.

Sean was also the recipient of the prestigious Mary Elizabeth Wade Award at this year’s Philosophy Spring Reception.
