The Condensed Matter Physics Journal Club is a weekly meeting of Physicists to discuss research papers and related science. In addition, it serves multiple functions for our students, including expanding their knowledge base, fostering critical thinking, and improving presentation skills. Reading the paper beforehand is generally the best way to utilize the time spent in the journal club.
Journal club meetings are held during the Fall and Spring semesters on Fridays from 12 - 1 pm in Lin Hall Room 105.
