My name is Dr. Jeremy Smallwood. I'm the Dodge Family Prize Postdoctoral Fellow in Astrophysics at the University of Oklahoma. I am a computational astrophysicist specializing in advanced simulations to explore planet formation and interpret astronomical observations. My research focuses on the dynamics of circumbinary disks around binary star systems, the interaction between gas and dust in highly misaligned circumbinary disk configurations, the impact of unbound perturbers (such as stellar flybys) on protoplanetary disks, and the N-body dynamics governing planetary systems.
