Nazmin Sultana is a doctoral student in the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma (OU). She holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at OU Libraries. Nazmin’s research interests focus on the intersection of new media and technology, public libraries, and social justice. Specifically, she is interested in how public libraries can use new media and technology to promote STEAM education, support bilingual communities, and create inclusive Library Makerspaces. Nazmin’s advisor is Dr. June Abbas, Professor and Director of the School of Library and Information Studies and Co-Director of the Dodge Family College of Arts & Sciences Data Scholarship Program at the University of Oklahoma.
