Susan Burke

Susan K. Burke has been a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma since 2004, and was previously a faculty member at Texas Woman's University. Her primary teaching area is research methods and she has taught this topic at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. She has an MLIS degree and was a professional librarian in academic and public libraries before returning to graduate school for a Ph.D. in Sociology followed by a career in academia. She served as Director of the University of Oklahoma's School of Library and Information Studies from 2016-2023 and as the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Museum Studies from 2023-2026.
