Susan K. Burke is currently the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and was formerly the Director of the University of Oklahoma's School of Library and Information Studies from 2016-2023. She has been a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma since 2004. Her primary teaching area is research methods and she has taught this topic at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. She has an MLIS degree and was a professional librarian in academic and public libraries before returning to graduate school for a Ph.D. in Sociology followed by a career in academia.
