Yong Ju Jung is an Associate Professor in the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Her research centers on learners' social and affective interactions with innovative technology across various learning environments, including libraries, museums, makerspaces, and online settings. Her recent projects focus on children's STEM learning and AI literacy through embodied learning; youth with disabilities in library makerspaces; and adult learners’ (e.g., older adults, teachers) wellness and informal learning. Her research has been supported by national agencies, including the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), as well as the OU Data Institute for Societal Challenges (DISC). She earned a PhD in learning, design, and technology from the Pennsylvania State University after receiving an MA in educational technology and a BA in education from Korea University.
