Schleifer Wins 2020 Rothbaum Award

Congratulations to Dr. Cyrus Schleifer on being selected as the recipient of the 2020 Rothbaum Outstanding Assistant Professor Award! The Irene Rothbaum Award for Outstanding Assistant Professor is given to a tenure-track assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences who has demonstrated dedication, effectiveness, and the ability to inspire students to high levels of achievement through their teaching as well as showing outstanding progress in their scholarship. This award was established through a generous donation from Julian Rothbaum in honor of his wife. The recipient will receive a one-time financial award and will have their name placed on a plaque for permanent display in the College of Arts and Sciences office. The Sociology Department is currently tied for the department with the most professors who have won Rothbaum award at four.

Congratulations and Well Done Cy!
