Rick Wolford accepts a tenure-track assistant professor position at Lane College in Tennessee


Congratulations to Rick Wolford, PhD., who recently accepted a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Sociology Lane College in Tennessee. Rick will be starting at Lane in the fall of 2021, and will continue do research in environmental sociology and will teach courses in environmental sociology, sociology of gender, and social research methods. Rick defended his dissertation, “Environmental Allyship: How Trusting the Government Impacts Environmental Dispositions” earlier this month and his committee members included Tom Burns (chair), Loretta Bass, John Carl, and Jeff Kelly of the Oklahoma Biological Survey and Department of Biology. Rick will miss his friends in Oklahoma but looks forward to his future at Lane College in Jackson Tennessee.
