Hong Lin, PhD
Hong Lin has 25 years of teaching experience in higher education and 12 years of leadership experience in teaching centers in a couple of institutions. She led and served on many university-level initiatives and committees on faculty development in teaching enhancement. Using a research-informed and evidence-based approach, she works with faculty and instructors across campus to adopt teaching innovations to enhance their teaching effectiveness and efficiency.
Hong has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at OU, Oklahoma State, and Penn State. She has published more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and conference proceedings, co-authored a textbook, and served on the editorial board of two peer-reviewed journals in the field of teaching and learning. She earned a doctoral degree from the Department of Learning and Performance Systems at Penn State - University Park.
