Mahbub Amin

Mahbub Amin is a Ph.D. student in Learning Experience Design and Technology at the University of Oklahoma and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant and Instructional Designer at the Center for Faculty Excellence. His work focuses on instructional design, faculty support, AI-enhanced learning, and human-centered educational innovation in higher education contexts.

He holds two master’s degrees in TESOL from Michigan State University and in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from Jahangirnagar University. With professional experience in instructional design and multimedia learning development, Mahbub is interested in how emerging technologies, particularly generative AI, can support meaningful, accessible, and learner-centered educational experiences.

His broader research interests include AI literacy, critical digital pedagogy, learning sciences, multimedia learning, and equitable instructional design. His current projects explore AI-supported learning environments, faculty and GTA AI literacy development, LXDT program design, and the role of reflective and inclusive design practices in education.
