The Latin America and Caribbean Best Paper Award is offered annually by the OU Center for the Americas.
This award is offered annually by the OU Center for the Americas for to the best undergraduate papers on any topic related to Latin America or the Caribbean. Papers will be judged on the strength and originality of research, arguments, methodology, and writing.
Papers may be nominated by any OU faculty member or undergraduate student. Self-nominations are permitted. To be eligible, papers must be at least 8 pages, typed and double-spaced.
First prize: $250
Second prize: $100
