Stuart Family Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship was created out of the initiative and generosity of the Stuart Family Foundation to provide study abroad scholarships for OU students who participate in the University’s signature study abroad programs in Arezzo, Italy and Puebla, Mexico.

Awards are given on a demonstrated need basis to qualified undergraduate and graduate students participating in an OU Study Center Semester program. Awards are based on factors such as (1) student financial need, (2) GPA, and (3)studying at an OU Study Center during the fall and/or spring semester. Award amounts range from $500 to $5,000.

  • Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must be a full-time, regularly enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma
  • Must have a current OU in Arezzo or OU in Puebla fall or spring application completed
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must demonstrate a financial need (broadly defined)
  • Consideration will be given to students majoring in International Studies
  • Must not be the Donor or an immediate family member of the Donor

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any student unable to complete the program will be required to return the full amount of the award to the College of International Studies.
