Internship Duties and Responsibilities

The student intern will assist the College of International Studies with special projects related to conferences, events, press and media preparation, and outreach to students including recruiting for OU in Arezzo and assisting with immigration issues for international students.  This will consist of carrying out various tasks, including preparation of materials, venue setup, regular student lunches and arranging and providing logistical support to visiting delegations.  Other tasks may include writing press releases, Internet projects, filing, typing, and general office duties. 

Academic Assignment

Students selected for the internship will write a 10-15 page research paper on a topic agreed upon with the course professor.  If you are selected, you will need to complete the formal paperwork to enroll in the IAS 3910 internship class located here.

The CIS Internship application is closed for fall 2023. Please check back in the fall semester to apply for a spring position.
