Parsa Scholarship for Iranian Studies

The Farzaneh Family Center for Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies awards scholarships of up to $3,000 to deserving students who intend to minor in Iranian studies and who show a commitment to taking Persian and International & Area Studies courses that satisfy the requirements for a minor in Iranian studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a full-time, regularly enrolled student at the University of Oklahoma, with a major in the College of International Studies or a minor in Iranian Studies
Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Must not be the Donor or an immediate family member of the Donor

NOTE: Students can receive the scholarship more than once.

Deadline: February 1

NOTE: Any student unable to complete the program will be required to return the full amount of the award to the College of International Studies.
