Annette communicates how the cutting-edge research at CIWRO is impacting the global science of meteorology and shares stories of how this important work is shaping and improving everyday life. She also collaborates with teachers of all disciplines to provide free and engaging weather curriculum to PK-12 schools.

Her current projects include developing "Weathering the Storm," a semester-long STEM career exploration curriculum for middle school students. The curriculum explores the basics of severe weather and career opportunities within atmospheric science fields. She also works with CIWRO scientists to create traveling trunks for elementary school teachers to use in their classrooms.
