About

Brian has been a Research Associate with CIWRO since 2018, and a current team member on the Warn on Forecast (WoFS) project where he is a co-maintainer of the cloud-based WoFS. His work at CIWRO involves enhancing the post-processing, visualization, and verification capabilities of the WoFS, and he uses the model guidance to explore applications to predictability of heavy rainfall and flash flooding events. Additionally, his research interests include heavy to extreme rainfall processes as well as tropical cyclones.
