Cody is the Senior Admin Support Specialist at the Cooperative Institute for Severe and High-Impact Weather Research and Operations (CIWRO). He assumed the position in October 2025. Previously, he was a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, where he mastered in communication. He also served as an instructor for the introductory communication and public speaking courses. As an undergraduate student, he earned dual degrees in political science and communication from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In his current capacity, he handles front office reception, responds to phone calls and emails, and manages scheduling for the Director of CIWRO, Dr. Greg McFarquhar.
