Feng started with CIWRO (previously CIMMS) in 2017 as a post-doctoral research associate and transitioned to a full time research scientist in 2019. He is part of the Advanced Radar Techniques team and his research primarily focuses on 1) developing signal processing algorithms to improve weather radar data quality, and 2) utilizing advanced capabilities of phased-array radar to improve weather observations.
