Jason is in his junior year of his undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma. He has been with CIWRO since October 2024. His current focus is on lightning meteorology and winter meteorological events. He is currently working on a project analyzing certain lightning behavior near tall structures during lake effect snow events. He is interested in understanding how lightning interacts with different types of structures in certain environments. He also assists with the Oklahoma Lightning Mapping Array (OKLMA) network.
