Joey is a researcher and former forecaster, with prior experience at NWS forecast offices and the Storm Prediction Center. After graduating from OU, he began his career in 2011 as a meteorologist with Weather Forecast Office New York, NY, with a heavy focus in the operational use of dual-polarization radar technology. Thereafter, he spent several years as a forecaster both at the Storm Prediction Center and WFO Fort Worth/Dallas before becoming a research associate with CIWRO/OU.
