Nusrat Yussouf leads the CIWRO Data Assimilation and Modeling Team and serves as the CIWRO Branch Director for the Innovations in Modeling, Prediction, Applications, Communications, and Testbeds (IMPACT) Branch. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. Nusrat’s primary responsibility is advancing NOAA’s Warn on Forecast (WoFS) ensemble modeling system. In this role, she collaborates with scientists from federal agencies and academia, secures external funding, and mentors junior scientists and graduate students.
