Petar Bukovcic is a research scientist at CIWRO, University of Oklahoma. Some of his professional interests are quantitative precipitation/snow estimation, hydrometeor classification, now-casting, and microphysics retrievals with polarimetric radar; in-situ precipitation measurements and microphysics retrievals; winter precipitation analysis using weather radar and other sensors, studies of liquid-ice transitions, freezing rain, ice pellets, and snow; and novel methods of analyzing and displaying polarimetric radar observations.
