Welcome to the Pauls Valley Middle School, where spirit, pride,
and tradition are the bywords of a school in which the entire community
takes pride! Along with increasing your knowledge and developing your skills,
your major responsibility while at PVMS will be to respect your fellow students,
teachers and staff members. They in turn shall respect you. No individual
at PVMS has the right or privilege to infringe or deny the rights of another
individual. Our school is a community which needs the cooperation of all
those involved in order to make the school a pleasant place in which to
be. Students are encouraged to take advantage of academic and extracurricular
opportunities that are available at PVMS.
Attendance
Our aim is to have as many students with perfect attendance as possible.
When students are absent they miss necessary information, some of which
may never be made up. Students receive maximum benefits from school only
through preparation and participation each day in all classes. Daily attendance,
therefore, is expected of all students unless illness or family emergencies
prevent it, and in such cases it is the responsibility of the parents to
notify the school by telephone.
