Network Project


This is an individual or two person project. Design two LANs. One LAN for 100 users in a four floor office building in Richardson, Texas and the other LAN for 25 users in a single floor office building in Northbrook, Illinois. Choose a wide area network service to connect the two LANs. These LANs are for a new company that creates business software. Deliverables for this project are:
  1. Spread sheet of all hardware, software and personnel costs of installing the LAN and 2 year projected maintenance costs. Include this spreadsheet in the report described in the following point.
  2. Four page single spaced report that describes rationale for the costs in the spreadsheet.
