About

Prof. Mike Banad is an associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an affiliated faculty member in the Materials Science and Engineering Program at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and previously served as a research fellow at Harvard University, a faculty member at Southern University in Louisiana, and a research and development engineer at Samsung Electronics. His research focuses on neuromorphic computing, AI-driven inverse design, and intelligent photonic and electronic systems, with emphasis on reliable, energy-efficient, and high-performance architectures that integrate innovations across materials, devices, circuits, systems, algorithms, and real-world applications.
