Frequently Asked Questions

OU Engineering Days are designed for rising high school juniors and seniors (graduating in 2025 or 2026). There are no academic requirements before the camp, so any student in the grade bracket should be able to participate in the activities!

Campers should use the parking permit provided in their acceptance packet to park on campus for Engineering Days. This permit will only be needed for camps that happen during the week!

If you need another permit, please email us at goengineering@ou.edu.

Engineering Days costs $25 per session to help cover costs of lunch, supplies and materials, and more. This fee is non-refundable.

We want Engineering Days to be accessible to all students. Look out for the scholarship application after you apply.

Overview of Programs and Past Experiences

Students will design, build, and test a miniature off-road vehicle to carry an egg passenger over different obstacles.  Then, after a crash course on airplane physics, students will design, build, and fly their airplanes cooperatively in a super-sized game of battleship.
