About

Cesar Ruiz’s research concentrates on the effective use of domain knowledge for machine learning and stochastic modeling in engineering applications such as large-scale metal additive manufacturing, maintenance planning in complex systems, and reliability evaluation. His work has been published in IISE Transactions, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, and the ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering, among others. He is a member of SRE, INFORMS, and ASME.
