Shad is a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, pursuing a Master's degree in Global Studies at the David L. Boren School of International Studies. A former journalist, he serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at OU, supporting both the Center for Middle East Studies (CMES) and the Center for Peace and Development (CPD). Shad specializes in Middle Eastern security policy and regional dynamics, conducting research on contemporary security developments across the region and beyond.
