The Data Institute for Societal Challenges (DISC) hosted its Annual Symposium on April 7, 2026, at the OU Memorial Union, bringing together over 160 faculty, researchers, students, and partners from across the University of Oklahoma and beyond.
The symposium showcased interdisciplinary research and collaboration, featuring a keynote address, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and poster presentations across DISC focus areas.
Participants engaged in discussions spanning data science, artificial intelligence, health, environment, and social impact, emphasizing the translation of data-driven research into real-world applications.
