Course Descriptions, Subject Matter, and Requirements
Economic geography explains the location of economic activities such as business establishments and manufacturing plants. It seeks
to conceptualize economic systems, particularly their geographical aspects. In this course, emphasis is placed on the economic-geographic
patterns of modern, rather than traditional, economic systems. Class dicussions, student exercises, activities, individual and group projects
are an important part of the course.

Course Policies:
- Late Examination: Students who miss an exam or quiz for a legitimate reason (university
activities or illness) will be given a make-up exam. These are scheduled only once. Completion of
all exams and assignments is required to achieve a passing grade.
