Applications for the 2026 fall semester close on Thursday, January 15th. Applications for entrance to the program in the fall of 2027 will open in September, 2026. The Master of Arts is a scholarly degree with emphasis on theatre history, dramatic literature and criticism, and dramaturgy. The program is structured with the student’s particular needs and interests in mind.
The Helmerich School of Drama will offer a Master of Fine Arts in Directing beginning Fall 2026.
