Black Creative Circle

1. This student-led organization focuses on cultivating community for black creatives on and off campus.

2. The Black Creative Circle facilitates opportunities for black creatives to grow in their craft through performance and leadership.

3. Creates Community Service opportunities and to mentor and give back to younger generations of black creatives.

4. Produce a safe place for Black Creatives to be themselves.

Drama Student Senate

The Drama Student Senate works to expand educational opportunities, build morale, and serve the artists within the Helmerich School of Drama. The Senate is comprised of 4 representatives from each class who plan different workshops, fundraisers, spirit events, and the end-of-the-year banquet for the School of Drama.

Theatrical Writing Initiative

The Theatrical Writing Initiative is an organization that produces and workshops student plays, essays, and theatrical journalism within the OU Helmerich School of Drama.

Officers for 2021-2022:

Editor: Alleese Eldridge
Establishes plans and goals for the TWI team, runs meetings, evaluates pieces to be published, and manages the TWI website.

Managing Editor: Morgan Simon
Evaluates pieces to be published, organizes meetings, and manages the TWI website.
