Undergraduate Applicants

Undergraduate applicants should follow the instructions on the School of Music's Undergraduate Admissions & Auditions page. All students are considered for scholarships.

Applications to the University must be received by December 15th for priority academic scholarship consideration from the University. Students who complete all necessary School of Music audition(s) / interview(s) before March 2 will receive priority consideration for music scholarships.

If you are an Oklahoma resident and have been selected for an OkMEA All-State ensemble, you are automatically eligible to receive a tuition waiver. See the webpage linked above for more details.

Graduate Applicants

Graduate applicants must submit a graduate application to the OU School of Music and await the results of prescreening. Those who pass prescreening will need to register for a graduate voice audition on the Benton-Schmidt page. All graduate applicants who register before the deadline are considered for Benton-Schmidt scholarships.
