Kodály Concept III
We will continue to use and refer to materials that you purchased in previous levels. While not essential, if you have any of the following in your library at home or school, you may wish to bring them with you for reference:

If You Would Like to Prepare Materials/Assignments in Advance
There are two items that will need to be submitted before you can receive your Level 3 certificate. To save time and energy during the actual summer session, you are encouraged to collect and prepare these items in advance.
Folk Song Collection
The first item is an analyzed folk song collection. For final certification, the songs must be organized (1 song per page) in a notebook - or scanned and placed in an electronic file – whichever you prefer.
The requirement is 150 songs: 100 of your songs are already analyzed (you completed 50 in level 1 and about 50 more in Level 2). It may be that the song pages just need to be organized and put in a notebook. We will add another 50 or so songs during Level 3.
Folk song retrieval system
Along with your folk song collection, you need a copy of your folk song retrieval system. This system was initiated in level 1 or 2, so you may just need to pull this together and add the new songs. You can do your own system independently – or you may work with classmates to prepare a communal retrieval system.
