Dr. Park's research interests focus on how people engage in news and interact with journalists on social/mobile media, how newsrooms adopt and utilize artificial intelligence in the news production process, and how journalists adapt to rapidly changing technological environments. His work has appeared in prominent peer-reviewed journals, including International Journal of Public Opinion Research, International Journal of Communication, Mass Communication and Society, Social Media + Society, and Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media among others. He has received extramural grants about automated journalism and South Korean drama.
