Student Opportunities

As a part of student life here at Gaylord, students are given the opportunity to be integrated with some of the very best organizations on campus, including OU Nightly, Sooner Sports Pad, Lindsey and Asp, and countless others. All of these clubs provide our students with the ability to have hands-on experience with any of the five majors offered here at Gaylord.

Study Abroad

Through Gaylord, students are also given the chance to travel across the country and overseas to enhance their learning experiences, including Arezzo, Italy, and Washington D.C., just to name a few. There are a variety of programs available that are sure to satisfy the adventurous side of any student.

At Gaylord, students are given the opportunities to develop their own portfolios with the help of our state of the art technology and build these for future employment opportunities.

Our Facilities

At Gaylord, we have state of the art facilities, complete with computer labs making us an Apple Distinguished Program, the first collegiate journalism program in the country to be given the title as a result of our educational excellence and leadership. Gaylord has also developed a broadcast area where students are given the opportunities to produce high quality video and television programs, and much more.
