Dr. Nils Gransberg is an adjunct instructor in the Haskell & Irene Lemon Construction Science Division at the University of Oklahoma. He also serves as Vice President for Operations at Gransberg & Associates, Inc., a Norman-based consulting firm specializing in construction engineering management. The firm provides continuing education and direct consulting services to a wide range of clients, including public and private owners, federal agencies, state departments of transportation, AEC firms, and general contractors.
Dr. Gransberg regularly leads professional development seminars for organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the South Plains Transportation Center, and various public and private sector clients. His expertise is grounded in a distinguished career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he retired in 2014 after managing a $450 million infrastructure expansion program and serving in construction effects units with deployments to Iraq (2003) and Afghanistan (2010–2011).
Following his military service, Dr. Gransberg joined the University of Oklahoma as a capital projects manager and construction administrator. His contributions include oversight of major campus projects such as the Tom Love Innovation Hub, the Residential Colleges, and the Jimmie F. Austin Golf Course Renovation Program.
