Students from the OU Environmental Design program and Institute for Quality Communities recently earned two Citations of Merit at the Statewide Preservation Conference. One of the award-winning projects involved documenting the historic Sundial House during a Historic Preservation Planning course led by Ron Frantz.
The other project, led by Ron Frantz and Hope Mander, looked at rehabilitating facilities at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in a way that would “respect the historic ‘parkitecture’ as well as meet current National Park Service guidelines.” A summary of this award-winning project can be found on the Institute for Quality Communities website.
