Open Streets Norman 2018 was recently held on Webster Avenue. The event included closing down most of Webster Avenue to promote walking and biking, with booths promoting healthy living. OU Regional & City Planning students and Landscape Architecture students, along with faculty Meghan Wieters (organizer) and Tom Woodfin, setup a bike rodeo. The bike rodeo taught kids bike safety skills. While the day was chilly, a fun time was had by all!
