The Tulsa Young Professionals (TYPros) Foundation aims to provide “strategic funding to projects that engage young Tulsans in placemaking, innovation and community engagement.”

Recently, two proposals by Urban Design Studio (UDS) alumni were funded by the TYPros Foundation. UDS alumnus Kelly Cook submitted a proposal to create the Tulsa Art Alley. She and collaborator Libby Billings were awarded funding to paint the alley behind Elote, connected to the Stickwork project in Chapman Green.

UDS alumnus Paulina Baeza, along with Casa de la Cultura and the Tulsa Hub, submitted a proposal for the Tulsa Bike Rack Mural Project. They were awarded funding to build bike racks in east Tulsa.

Congratulations, Kelly and Paulina!
