Students across the Gibbs College of Architecture enrolled in Marjorie Callahan’s “Rethinking Women’s Prisons” course presented their final projects to ReMerge officials and participants of the program on Dec. 12 at the organization’s brand new location in Oklahoma City.

ReMerge, a nonprofit based in Oklahoma City, works to support pregnant women and mothers facing incarceration through a program of “treatment, recovery, and hope.”

Students presented their ideas for improving local Oklahoma prisons for women, as well as many other design-based concepts such as park installments and facilities.
