Design-Build Students Complete Project on Osage Forest of Peace Campus

Under the direction of Construction Science instructor, twelve Gibbs College students recently completed a building for the Osage Forest of Peace campus in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

The new “American School” structure will provide climate-controlled storage space for the forest operations. Students who participated in the construction project included Christian Andrews, Patrick Barton, Emily Carter, Carl Davis, Yana Dyachkova, Sean Harrell, Randall Kinnaman, Sam McKee, Caleb Nosak, Dominic Perez, Benjamin Sell, and Cooper Williams.

The project also included contributions from Gibbs College dean Hans E. Butzer, Director of Construction Science Ben Bigelow, Professor of Architecture Andres Cavieres, and Urban Design Studio Director Shawn Schaefer.
