CJC Architects, a firm owned by OU Architecture alumni Michael Hagan and John Hall, recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. CJC is a full-service architecture firm based out of Tulsa, OK, and is one of the oldest locally owned, continually operating firms in the region.

The firm was originally founded in 1953 by Architects Joseph Coleman and Bruce Ervin and is now run by Tim Boeckman, CJC president, as well as Hall and Hagan, CJC vice presidents. Over the years, CJC has built long-term client relationships with Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Tulsa Public Schools, the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow and the Oklahoma Military Department in Oklahoma City.

Hagan joined CJC in 2011 after receiving his Master’s in Architecture from OU. He has played a key role in managing the production of contract documents for various Oklahoma Military Department projects and has been involved in all phases of design and construction. Many of these projects are renovations and additions to existing and aging OMD facilities.

Hall also joined CJC in 2011 after graduating from OU with a Bachelor’s in Architecture. Hall’s main focus is to detail and specify materials and products that meet client’s requirements and enhance the quality of built products. During his time at CJC, he has contributed to many notable projects including the Oklahoma Baptist University College of NursingBattle Creek Church and Iconik Bixby.
