Jessica Hester is a 2011 graduate of the Architecture program here at the University of Oklahoma (OU)! Today, she has owned three successful architecture firms. We talked to Jessica about her experiences at OU and her time after.
Assistant professor Deborah Richards received the 2019–2020 Division of Architecture Gibbs Research Fellowship for her work in computational design. The award will support her research on digital placemaking, which explores how computational design can engage communities.
Dr. Tammy McCuen, professor of construction science, and doctoral candidate Muzibur Rahman received the Associated Schools of Construction Proceedings’ 2019 “Best Paper Honorable Mention” for their research on construction management faculty searches in the United States. Their paper was presented at the 55th Annual ASC International Conference in Denver, with McCuen serving as lead author alongside co-authors David Gunderson and Rahman.
